I admit it. Writing this blog is hard because I'm so incredibly lazy. Anyways I have A LOT to catch you up on. Basically last weekend to this weekend so let's get going.

Last Weekend

Sunday I went to the zoo! And saw two pandas!! But it was actually really depressing because the panda was all sad and sleepy. Also we walked through the exhibit for "One Minute of Giant Panda Viewing Time". Very smart to make sure there isn't a huge swarm but the pandas unfortunately did not move during that one minute.

THE TEA IS BOILIN'

I got to be in a traditional tea ceremony and flower arrangement class! It was neat. That fish pancake tasted really good. LMao the coordinator had me to pretend to make tea for the photo. Arranging the flowers was cute too but I put the arrangement in my dorm kitchen and someone not only cut one of the branches but rearranged it??? I'm salty what can I say my arrangement was beautiful and should be only touched with hands of a god (mine).

Back to the Labo

I got to meet my lab this week. My work is really interesting but without a doubt I have a lot of work ahead of me these next 8 weeks. The lab had a welcome dinner party for me on friday. I was telling my lab mate how it was interesting that in Japan students drink with their lab professors whereas I think that's pretty rare in the U.S.? But anyways I'm a pro at the morning commute now. I take three trains to get to school but that's childs play now.

Here's a pic I took on a bridge near my campus oooh ahhhh train tracks oooh so uncommon in California oooh.

This weekend!

On saturday there was this dance/ lantern festival. Tried to join in for the dance and of course it was literally the hardest dance of the night that not even the locals knew how to do because apparently it's the official Olympics 2020 dance. After my dormmates and I decided to get some ramen in Shibuya it was ookaayy I just don't really like thick noodles that much. Then today was led by some nice old men (not creepy only wholesome) with a bunch of people from my program to Kamakura. The guides said it was an ancient city and once a capital that was founded by samurai. We also saw a huge buddha and went inside so I hope that means a lot of luck for me PLEASE. ALSO LOOK AT THESE HORRIBLE JUMP PHOTOS THEY'RE SO FUNNY.

And that's all! MAKE SURE TO SMASH THAT SUBSCRIBE BUTTON.
