Ehehe... I was doing so well being all caught up and now I am 3 weeks late on posts. Well. That's what you get from a Helene Exclusive Blog. Should have seen this coming. Anyways this post is about Aug 26-Sept 1. Hopefully I remember a lot of fun stuff but let's get intooo it.

During the Week

So this week I was a busy worker bee in lab because it was my second to last week. SOo haha actually nothing very exciting during the week. Also it was so unbelievably depressing in the dorm at this time because so many people had left the week before. When I would come home no one would be in the lounge, no lights were on in the dorms or kitchens. It was a ghost town. But it's ok needed to finish my robot without distractions anyways.

Pizza Party

Despite there being literally no one we managed to get a group together to go out on friday night. We went to a pizza bar in Shibuya and the pizza was ACTUALLy decent good job japan. Also they were playing some fun music haha a lot of old rap like Snoop Dogg and Notorious BIG. I just remember I could not stop laughing at my friends German and Amin when they were trying to be "serious."

Ghibli Museum Babyyy

I went to the Ghibli Museum!! I literally had to buy these tickets more than a month in advance because they start selling the 10th of the month prior to when you want to go. So bought these bad boys on July 10 and went August 31. CrRazy. We weren't allowed to take pictures inside the museum so here are just some outside shots. It was really cute though. I loved seeing the sketches for the movies they were so well done. Also there was a short film that was like extremely uncomfortable to watch. It was about this ugly brown poop shaped bug that was smaller than the swarm of him and they like destroyed this plant and created like a poop avalanche on the plant and made disgusting noises. There was a baby crying the whole time and I was like me too baby. Also I was jealous because there was a kid room with a big furry version of the cat bus from my neighbor Totoro that all the kids got to climb all over. Me and my friends were joking that if we each took down like 4 kids we could claim the cat bus.

So the museum was actually in Kichijoji which is the end of the train line for my dorm. And I always hear (and sometimes repeat for funz) "This train is bound for KICHIJOJI" every single day. But I finally got to go! And I thought it would be an empty part of Tokyo or something but there was actually a really nice park there and around the station was bustling with people. After the museum we got dinner just by walking around and going down to the basement of some random building. Our friend has a theory that everything that is good in japan is in a basement or underground... which is a little bit true haha. It tasted awesome and also was paid for by Danny's sister (so nice). I just had one really lame photo of the food so instead here is a picture of the frozen yogurt we got after I got fig flavor yuM.

Okay that was all for that week!! I will keep on pushing these out!

Hi , I know that a lot of people like to go on trips nowadays in the areas closer to their house and so they need an RTV for them which they can take with them to avoid the additional charges of paying rents of hotels and other things . I have just found a perfect website where you can find the best RTVs and RTVs guide here.
